who we are

Third Horizon is a network of artists, storytellers and filmmakers, dedicated to the radical possibilities of cinema, connecting audiences to stories from the Caribbean and the Global South.

Inspired by our community, we are engaged with a series of linked interventions in support of our mission: developing, producing, and exhibiting films and programs that give voice to  the Caribbean and its diaspora. Third Horizon Film Festival is at the heart of these intentions. The realization of the first festival in 2016 sparked a fire that continues to fuel our journey.

  • YELLOW ROBIN COMPETITION

    The Curacao International Film Festival (CIFF) is now accepting applications for the Yellow Robin Competition, which screens first or second feature films by filmmakers from or working in the Caribbean and the Caribbean basin (including coastal Central and South America), as well as filmmakers from those countries living or working in the diaspora. Deadline: December 30.
